EUROBIKE in Friedrichshafen at Lake Constance is the world’s leading bicycle show and every year it is the most important meeting point for the global bicycle industry. The majority of exhibitors come from Asia – which is where many bicycles and bicycle parts, as well as equipment, apparel, and accessories are manufactured for the global market. The ASEAN region is seen as a very promising market, both as a production region and as a future market for the sale of high-end bicycles and accessories.

It is therefore only logical that, as part of its increasing internationalization and urbanization, the organizers of EUROBIKE are orienting the show toward the future growth markets in Southeast Asia – and are initiating an important international platform in the shape of the ASEANBIKE powered by EUROBIKE.

ASEANBIKE powered by EUROBIKE is open to OEM manufacturers, brands, importers, distributors, retailers and service providers. It offers plenty of exhibition and meeting opportunities – from classic show booth to OE meetings, importer and retailer meetings, from test/demo tracks and group rides to community-building measures. The show date at the beginning of October was deliberately chosen by the 50/50 partners, N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer (NEO) and Messe Friedrichshafen, because the industry needs a central meeting point in the Asian economic region at this time of the year.

The ASEAN region takes in Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia and Myanmar, as well as the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam and Thailand. In terms of logistics and infrastructure, Bangkok is the ideal location for an international show. In addition, cycling as a sport is becoming increasingly popular in this multi-million city, not least thanks to state investments in the corresponding infrastructure.
